We investigate, report the facts, and apply public pressure to make it right — at no cost to the people we stand up for. If your case is true, documented, and in the public interest, we may take up the fight for you.

Our editorial team independently checks the facts and reaches out to the other side for their response. We only pursue cases that are true, documented, and in the public interest.

Twilio Cut the Phones — and Denti-Cal Patients Were Left in Pain

A cloud telecom giant suspended a low-income dental clinic's phone lines over disputed fraud charges, cutting off vulnerable patients for more than a week. KFN investigated and launched a public campaign.

Outcome: Won. Twilio reactivated the clinic's phone service and waived the disputed charges — patients can reach the clinic again. Read the full investigation →

  • KFN is a newsroom. We practice journalism and public advocacy — not legal representation, and we don't give legal advice.
  • We review every submission but can't take every case. We choose the ones where our reporting can make the biggest difference.
  • We can't guarantee an outcome — but we can guarantee we'll be honest, fair, and relentless.
