Princeton University is a founding equity partner in the NJ AI Hub with the State of New Jersey, Microsoft, and CoreWeave—an ecosystem for research, ethical applied AI, startups, and workforce training in West Windsor space along Route 1. Founding partners have pledged more than $72 million, including NJEDA Strategic Innovation Center support. Hub as regional strategy
President Christopher Eisgruber has framed the Hub as advancing two university priorities at once: AI research excellence and a thriving regional innovation ecosystem. Microsoft TechSpark skilling, community-college pathways, and project-based courses are part of the design—not optional outreach.
