Iowa State University’s Board of Regents–approved Translational AI Center (TrAC) convenes fifty-plus faculty across colleges to apply AI to autonomy and infrastructure; food, energy, and water; biology and health; materials and manufacturing; fintech; and AI ethics. TrAC joined the U.S. Commerce Department / NIST AI Safety Institute Consortium and runs industry bootcamps, proof-of-concept services, and mentored internships.
