UC Chile in Santiago: MIA for applied AI with an ethics spine

Campus FutureSantiagoUpdated Aug 2026

Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile’s Magíster en Inteligencia Artificial (MIA) trains professionals to design and deploy AI for industry, government, and society—machine learning, foundation models, data science, and intelligent systems—with required applied ethics (FIL2000) and interdisciplinary buy-in from Engineering, Mathematics, Philosophy, and the Institute for Mathematical and Computational Engineering. Hybrid evenings at Campus San Joaquín serve regional and international students. With Universidad de Chile, UC co-builds the country’s first AI doctorate. For KFN, UC is Campus Future for Chilean private research AI.
